The house and furnishings were left to the Region of Tuscany by Rodolfo Siviero in his will in 1983. It is home to the private collection of the so-called "James Bond of the art world", renown for his work in recovering a great number of works of art stolen from Italy during the Second World War.

Saturday, 30 January, 10.30 am, museum Casa Siviero, the opening of the exhibition. The exhibition will continue until 31 March, free entrance, Saturday 10 am-6pm; Sunday and Monday 10am-1pm
The exhibition features the restored self-portrait by Giorgio De Chirico, that belongs to the Siviero collection.  Due to the oxidation of the paint, the portrait was barely visible. The restoration, though keeping the dark tones of the nocturnal colors, allows us once again to see the original image.According to Siviero's documents, De Chirico's self-portrait with column was a gift to him by Matilde Forti Castelfranco, the previous owner of the villa in the Lungarno Serristori, cur...


Opening times

Saturday, 10.00 am - 6.00 pm (from October to May); 10.00 am-2.00 pm and 3.00 pm-7.00 pm (from June to September );
Sunday and Monday 10.00 am -1.00 pm (all year round).

The Museum will be open on the following public holidays if they fall on a Saturday, Sunday or Monday, 25 April, 2 June, 1 November, 8 December. The Museum is closed on the following public holidays: 1 January, 1 May, 24 June, 15 August, 25 & 26 December.
