On entering a right-angled corridor, four landscape paintings inspired by the countryside of the Region of Lazio, in particular the waterfall and the Temple of Sybilla at Tivoli can be seen. These are the work of Jan Frans van Bloemen, also known as "Orizzonte" (1662-1749), the important Flemish landscape painter who worked in Rome during the first half of the 18th century. His idyllic, classic style reflects the fashion and success of the Arcadian literary style of 18th century Rome. As the writing on the rear of the landscapes confirm, the works were finished after the master's death by his most famous pupil, Ignazio Francesco Bavarese, also known as "Borgognone".
